In 1973 a hard working rock band named Montrose set the world on fire with their debut album simply called Montrose.

All expenses were spared in the packaging, I presume the blew their whole budget on Kevin Gray? Don't get me wrong, I love it, the sound is HUGE for sure, but come on... a plain white inner sleeve with not one word on it! No additional liner notes, history, recording details, nothing??? Also, the LP was a mess, required much cleaning to get it to play without skipping, shoddy QA in the cutting room I presume? But, in the end, it's the music, the sound, the ROCK!
