Columbia AS-447 Promo-only 12" single

Godzilla is a song by Blue Öyster Cult from their 5th album Spectres. The lyrics are a tongue-in-cheek to the popular movie monster of the same name. The song is, along with "(Don't Fear) The Reaper" and "Burnin' for You", one of Blue Öyster Cult's best known songs and has become a staple of their live performances. It has been covered by bands such as Racer X, Fu Manchu, The Smashing Pumpkins, Sebastian Bach, Fighting Gravity and others.

A 12" single of this song was produced with the studio version on one side and a live version (that is not the version found on either Some Enchanted Evening or Extraterrestrial Live) on the other side - the song is most easily identified by Eric's introduction - "It's not Raymond Burr, it's Godzilla!"

Ahh the memories - saw BOC at the Cow Palace many years ago. Each band (Ronnie Montrose + ??) was louder than the one before. BOC turned it up to 11. Plus laser lights and the GIANT GODZILLA! Thanks!

Does anyone else have trouble with the high res? DL has stopped with 83-99% every time (8-10 attempts). I did grab the 16b version without trouble. Any suggestions appreciated.

I just pulled it down from another computer with no issue, but I'll throw it up on zippy too.

Added zippy links, no idea what's up with mega for some folks, working for me, but now you have a choice.

Thanks for the Zippy...for some reason, I haven't tried to dive into the Mega pool yet. Too new for me, I guess (I'm a senior citizen, after all)...
